Minimalistic and modern design

Inspired by the Kaza hat worn by the Samurai, Kazu is an urban luminaire designed around the compactness of the LED engine by Creare Domus to provide a minimal and modern shape.
It offers two distinctive designs: one with a flat protector (standard version) and one with a shaped protector (comfort version) providing a curved aesthetic outline.

Resists hot conditions

The Kazu street luminaire benefits from superior thermal management to offer reliable performance in hot climates.
The curved cooling fins optimise heat extraction and prevent dirt from staying on the luminaire.

Dark-sky compliant to protect the environment

Fauna and flora can suffer from a high light intensity and excessive lighting over time. The high-performing light distributions and the flat protector of Kazu meet dark-sky specifications (0% ULOR) by focusing the light only where it is needed.
This protects the wildlife and the environment, as well as the drivers, cyclists and pedestrians, who benefit from high visual comfort.

Vandal proof

In public areas where there is little activity, vandalism might occur. With its robust design (up to IK 10), Kazu is ready to face this threat to maintain public lighting over time.

Installation and Maintenance

Post-top mounting

The Kazu luminaire offers slip-over mounting onto Ø60mm or Ø76mm spigots by tightening 6 screws.

Accessories and versions

Standard and Comfort versions

Two different versions of the Kazu are available; one with a flat polycarbonate protector and one with a symmetric dome-shaped protector. Both are characterised by a high tightness level and high impact resistance to maintain performance over time.
