In just a few days, the second largest multi-sport event in the world, the Pan American Games 2019 will open. From 26th July to 11th August, more than 6,500 athletes from 42 countries will be competing for medals on the courts, tracks, fields and swimming pools. SynchroniCity is a large scale IoT pilot project to create and pilot new digital solutions that will improve city life. Our project will leverage real-time traffic data with existing street lighting infrastructure to provide added-value services in the fields of adaptive lighting, traffic optimisation, and public safety.
