Glattzentrum

The Glattzentrum, formerly known as the Glatt Shopping Centre, is one of Switzerland’s most popular retail destinations. Located just outside of Zurich, it has been a major shopping hub since opening in 1975 with over 100 shops.

Between 2015 and 2019, the centre underwent significant renovations to modernise its facilities, further cementing its status as a "shopping city" that welcomes approximately nine million visitors annually.

As part of the exterior refurbishment, the municipality of Wallisellen was looking for a luminaire that was as stylish as it was durable. The SHUFFLE was chosen for its versatility, specifically its ability to direct light through 360° and its capacity for complete customisation.

We collaborated closely with the customer to meet their unique requirements, developing customised SHUFFLE poles featuring reinforced base plates and a bespoke colour finish as requested by the architect. A total of 38 poles were installed, uniformly lighting the entrance area with highly efficient LEDs and blending perfectly with the building's new aesthetic, while significantly enhancing the visitor experience.
