FC Eschenbach football pitches

When FC Eschenbach decided to renovate the lighting on its three football pitches, the club's main objective was to improve visibility and safety for everyone. The club required a solution that balanced high-performance sports lighting with an intelligent management system to ensure long-term energy efficiency.
 

A smart, integrated solution

We delivered a smart sports lighting solution comprising 22 high-performance BRITELINE floodlights for the existing 12 masts. All of the floodlights are connected to the Schréder ITERRA wireless control system, which enables different lighting scenarios to be programmed according to the requirements of each pitch.

By collaborating closely with the club, we programmed four scenarios for pitch A and four scenarios for pitch B, including: 

• Match mode: 100% light output for high visibility and colour perception
• Training mode: 60% light output. 

Pitch A also offers an event scenario that only lights up the floodlights near the festival area.

The club also has the flexibility to easily switch the floodlights on and off, as well as adapt the lighting levels on each pitch individually.
 

Enhanced visibility for a better experience 

The BRITELINE LED floodlights deliver brighter, more uniform lighting. This means reduced glare and sharper visual perception for both players and spectators, which are essential for safety and performance in a sports environment.
 

Reduced installation and operating costs

Opting for the Schréder ITERRA wireless control system eliminated the need for invasive cabling around the pitches, significantly reducing initial installation costs.

The transition to a smart LED lighting system has enabled the municipality to reduce the club's energy costs by over 60%. 

With a longer lifespan than traditional discharge lamps, this system will provide the club with a sustainable, low-maintenance solution for years to come.
