Schréder, a global leader in smart LED sports lighting, has achieved official product accreditation within the FIFA Quality Programme for Floodlights.
 

This prestigious recognition validates Schréder’s commitment to delivering high-performance lighting solutions for football venues at all levels, ranging from grassroots clubs to professional stadiums.

Launched in late 2023, the FIFA Quality Programme for Floodlights sets a global standard for lighting quality, safety and broadcasting excellence. Following independent testing that confirmed its ability to meet the most rigorous standards for performance and durability, Schréder’s OMNIBLAST floodlight has officially been awarded FIFA Quality Pro certification.
 

A Heritage of Sports Lighting Innovation

This qualification is the latest milestone in Schréder’s 60-year history of innovation in sports lighting.

The company’s commitment to sports infrastructure began in 1962 with the Estádio das Antas in Portugal, the home stadium of FC Porto. Schréder's mercury-vapour floodlighting technology meant that matches could be played at night, fundamentally changing the way fans experienced the game.
