Job responsibilities
The lifecycle team is dedicated to the execution of the existing product portfolio upgrade for a specific segment, in line with agreed roadmap for upgrades and new options respecting timeline and cost savings, to stay competitive into the market.
This lifecycle execution for a dedicated product portfolio needs to be fully aligned and agreed with supply chain in the relevant factories (stock management, configurator updates).
The purpose of the job is to be the project owner in terms product update, configuration, validation and implementation into the plant.
Main responsibilities:
- Product Update
- Manage the update into SolidWorks
- Understanding of the options available and needed
- Understanding of the product structure (mechanical and electromechanical)
- Identify and proposition of improvements and cost savings
- Product configuration
- Manage the configuration of product
- Understanding internal and external rule of configuration
- Identify and proposition of improvements in PLM for the team
- Be a problem solving person
- Project Management
- Follow the project and ensure the delivery date will be respected
- Ask the different department support in terms of prototyping, validation and implementation into the plant
- Ensure a commitment of all the department on the planning announce.
Required skills
- Global experience in R&D and/or production manufacturing environment (8-10 years)
- Proven knowledge in using and configuring SolidWorks
- Language: French and English mandatory B2 /Other languages are a plus (Spanish)
- Knowledge and comprehension of PLM (Bluestar is a plus)
- Promote collaboration
- Ability to work on multiple tasks
- Good communication skill
- Be responsive and accurate
