The Royal Route - Warsaw

As it was in the Belle Epoque

The city of Warsaw launched a renovation program for the area known as the “Royal Route” as part of a tourist promotion policy. The Royal Route comprises the capital’s main avenues and it was essential to keep the heritage intact.
Schréder was asked to light this area of high tourist value. The Albany, with its Victorian style was chosen to play the functional-decorative card alongside the listed monuments. A total of 500 luminaires were installed on Krakowskie Przedmiescie Avenue with a rear bracket version (150W and 70W respectively for the road and the pavements) and on Belwederska Avenue with a single bracket (250W metal halide lamps).
