Charitas Boat Station - Rio de Janeiro

Lighting modern architecture

Hailed as a breathtaking construction, the Niteroi Boat Station was built to ferry commuters between Rio de Janeiro and Niteroi so that they could avoid the endless traffic. Designed by the legendary Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, the Boat Station has a very modern design that blends in with the natural landscape. To compliment this urban environment, the Thylia lights the entrance to this contemporary building.
