Job responsibilities

The Treasury Assistant responsibilities cover all group Schréder companies with focus on Schréder SA, which organizes the group treasury and cash management strategies and which is figuring as group banker.

As Treasury Assistant the candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration on Treasury activities.

Main responsibilities
  • Determine daily cash position and manage cash requests
  • Periodic interest calculations
  • Generation of daily/monthly treasury reportings
  • Generate treasury payments & follow up on subsidiary payment files
  • Forecasting
  • Prepare FX covering reports & validation of FX hedges
  • Project involvement : roll out of the new group treasury model for the Schréder entities (interfacing setup & TMS tool)
  • Contact for banks on day-to-day transactions
  • Financing under documentary credits (L/C)
  • Intercompany loans follow up & administration
  • Treasury closing activities
  • Group expense note platform administration

Required skills

  • Bachelor in the financial sector or equivalent in experience
  • Proven experience of min. 3-5 years. Experience in a multinational environment is an asset
  • Knowledge in any treasury and banking system is a plus
  • Good Microsoft office knowledge
  • English (B2)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail, reporting skills, team player and assertivity
  • Autonomous, organized and rigorous
  • Analytical skills & improvement mindset
