Job responsibilities

The research development tools team exists to improve the efficiency of development tools to serve the research and the design centers of Schréder.
The team's purpose is to support users in their daily job.

  • The team improves the existing tools to increase work efficiency continuously.
  • The team defines and implements new tools to answer further questions with innovative technologies.
  • The team manages the knowledge by collecting or creating content and storing it. The team builds user training and information journey to ease access to the knowledge at any time.
Main responsibilities

The projects are managed in an agile reasoned mode.

The IT photometry project leader's missions and tasks are:

  1. Support the users of the IT photometry tools.
    a) Give first-line support to users helping them to fix their issues.
    b) Analyze the issues to find the root cause.
    c) Identify solutions to address and correct the root cause. Prototype them and validate them with stakeholders.
    d) Document the solution.
  2. Develop tools
    a) Identify improvements in tools and processes. Prototype them and validate them with stakeholders.
    b) Realize and deploy the software solution
  3. Manage knowledge
    a) Create content about issue resolution, tools improvements, and new tools usages.
    b) Build journeys for users to ensure initial training and continuous training.

Required skills

  • Engineering Master Degree or Bachelor in Industrial / Software / Computer engineering 
  • 3 -5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge in coding languages, frameworks, databases, and version control managers: C#, MVC .NET, NET Core, WCF / Web API, Entity Framework, JSON, T-SQL, SQL database management, Bootstrap, and GIT.
  • English (B2), French
  • Promote the collaboration. Ability to work in a small team environment
  • Willing to go and see the reality of the field.
  • Good communication level.
  • Ability in presentation and redaction of content adapted to the audience.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.
