The Lyon Light Festival attracts thousands of visitors per year as lighting professionals and tourists from all over the world visit the city to discover an enchanting ambiance.
For 4 days, the city sparkles and shines under the lights of the artistic installations created for the occasion. The ideal opportunity for the city to inaugurate new installations, to test new technologies and to simply create lighting animations for the pleasure of its residents and visitors.
Every year, Schréder encourages this discovery of light by supporting an artistic installation. This year, we sponsored Street Score, a playful sound and light installation by Sound and Light ACT. This young team composed of Sophie Valle (architect), Susheela Sankaram (lighting designer at Arup) and Léonard Roussel (sound designer), overlapped light, sound and materials to create an immersive and entertaining ambiance that transforms the public space.
Schréder supported this installation by lending help, expertise and time as well as providing the SCULPline, a compact linear LED floodlight that integrates DMX technology, instant switching and on-site photometric flexibility. Part of the new SCULPcollection family, this floodlight will be available early next year.
Congratulations to Sound and Light ACT for a truly memorable lighting animation!
