MINIMAL CONSUMPTION

The energy consumption of the LEDs is as minimalist as the design of the Bora: 12W for the Bora 0.25m to 33W for the Bora 3m.

Thanks to a “presence detector” and dimming (options), the light can be reduced to minimise energy consumption. In fact, during the night, LED electronics make it possible to maintain a light that is constantly reduced to a minimum.

Passers-by enter a reassuring path bathed in blue while, as they advance, the white light shows the way.

 

MEETING ALL NEEDS

The Bora bollards are available in different heights from 0.25m to 3m and a wall unit completes the range.

 

A COMPLETE SOLUTION

One or two adjustable and stackable floodlights can fitted at the top of the column (option).

The bollards can thus be used to create emphasis and highlight architectural elements.

ADJUSTABLE AND STACKABLE FLOODLIGHTS

  • One or two adjustable and stackable floodlights can fitted at the top of all Bora bollards to create emphasis and highlight architectural elements, for example.

  • A wall unit, which can also be attached at a lower level to the rear of a traditional lighting column, completes the range.

VARIABLE INTENSITY (DIMMING) FOR GREATER SAVINGS

  • These bollards can be fitted with an independent dimming system.
  • This important way of reducing energy consumption is capable of creating savings of up to 30%.
  • The programmable levels range from 1 to 5. The different dimming levels are handled daily and automatically adapted according to the length of the night.
  • The luminous flux is, in effect, reduced in practically the same proportion as the energy consumption.
  • NB: Contrary to traditional sources, LEDs allow for the variation of intensity at a very low level keeping the same colour temperature and same colour rendering index without losing light efficiency.

 

MOTION DETECTION

  • A motion and presence detection system can offer a complementary and efficient tool for a more rationalised use of energy.

Installation and Maintenance

INSTALLATION

EASY INSTALLATION

  • The Bora bollards are installed in the same way as a traditional pole via an aluminium mounting base on a concrete prepared support.
  • The bollards are provided with a factory fitted supply cable. This mechanical design assures maximum tightness, which is maintained over time.

MAINTENANCE

EASY MAINTENANCE

  • The LEDs require no maintenance and are integrated into a UV-stablised, impact resistant acrylic tube.

 

  • The Bora bollards have a high IP 67 tightness level, guaranteeing the long-term cleanliness of the optical and control gear compartment.

 

  • A main structure in painted extruded aluminium covers this watertight and robust optical compartment, thus assuring an unquestionnable impact resistance.

 

  • Access to the optical compartment is by loosening three screws and lifting the upper part of the unit.
