ATMOSPHERE, COMFORT AND ENERGY SAVINGS TO IDEALLY REPLACE THE OPAL SPHERE LUMINAIRE

HapiLED HapiLED HapiLED

2015 DEADLINE FOR MERCURY LAMPS

The European EuP Directive 2005/32/EC permanently bans mercury lamps from April 2015. The opal sphere luminaires installed in our cities are still often using 125W mercury bulbs. They need to be replaced by a more eco-friendly solutions. As a luminaire using sustainable materials and modern photometric engines, the HapiLED, an economical, aesthetic, robust and efficient LED solution, is here to replace it.

CONTROL OF LIGHT POLLUTION

In most countries, the standards regarding light pollution require the use of luminaires that drastically reduce the flux emitted in the upper hemisphere. With its ULOR of 3%, the HapiLED complies with CIE 150 (ULOR < 5%).

ENERGY SAVINGS OF UP TO 80%!

HapiLED

The HapiLED luminaire integrates the latest cutting edge technology. The combination of LED technology, a driver working within a constant flux system and a dimming system makes it possible to achieve energy savings that can exceed 80% compared with an opal sphere equipped with an elliptical mercury light source.

With this very favourable energy balance, the HapiLED contributes to the effective management of public finances and to the responsible use of energy.

TWO TYPES OF LED PHOTOMETRIC ENGINES

The HapiLED luminaire is available with two different types of photometric engines: LensoFlex®2 and Optic-F.
LensoFlex®2 is a second generation photometric engine based upon the addition principle of photometric distribution. LensoFlex®2 is available with 16, 24 or 32 LEDs.
The Optic-F version is characterised by the use of a linear module of white Fortimo LEDs and a reflector.

FUTUREPROOF

HapiLED luminaires are designed to meet our FutureProof concept.

Both the photometric engine and the electrical power supply can be replaced on-site to take advantage of any future technological developments.

INTEGRATED INTELLIGENCE

  • Constant luminous flux (CLO) optional for the LensoFlex®2 32 LED version
  • Variable intensity (dimming)

HapiLED luminaires can be fitted with an independent dimming system. This important way of reducing energy consumption can generate substantial savings.

REMOTE MANAGEMENT

The HapiLED luminaire can also incorporate the OWLET remote management system.

This open-source, bidirectional communication system is based on the principle of radio frequency via the ZigBee protocol. It offers numerous advantages:

  • Total flexibility of light levels and timings
  • Real-time feedback on the actual state of the light
  • Accurate measurement of energy use
  • Adjustment of power level: virtual nominal power
  • Independent of the supply network.

Photometry

TWO TYPES OF LED PHOTOMETRIC ENGINES

The HapiLED luminaire is available with two different types of photometric engines:

LensoFlex®2

LensoFlex®2 is a second generation photometric engine that has been specifically developed for lighting spaces where the well-being and safety of people using the environments are essential.
This system is based upon the addition principle of photometric distribution. Each LED is associated with a specific lens that generates the complete photometric distribution of the luminaire. It is the number of LEDs that determines the intensity level of the light distribution.
LensoFlex®2 is available with 16, 24 or 32 LEDs and two different photometric distributions. The multiple possibilities involving all together the number of LEDs, the driving current and the photometry allow the HapiLED to give the right answer to each specific case.

Optic-F

This version is characterised by the use of a linear module of white Fortimo LEDs operating in a constant luminous flux (CLO) and a reflector.

Installation and Maintenance

INSTALLATION

HapiLED is fixed by 6 screws on the post top fixation of the pole (60mm diameter).
Delivered pre-cabled, the luminaire does not have to be opened during installation.

MAINTENANCE

FUTUREPROOF

HapiLED luminaires are designed to meet our FutureProof concept. Both the photometric engine and the electrical power supply can be replaced on-site to take advantage of any future technological developments.

The top cover of the HapiLED is composed of injected aluminum and can be removed by loosening 3 screws.
An electrical disconnector automatically switchs off when the cover is opened.
In the LensoFlex®2 version, the module is replaced after removing the diffusor by loosening 3 screws.

Brackets and Poles

The HapiLED can be combined with a cylindrical-conical pole or a painted aluminium wall bracket.
