AT-T5

Description

Lighting interior areas in tunnels
Lighting railway platforms
The luminaire consists of an extruded aluminium profile of variable length. A 5 mm thick tempered glass or polycarbonate protector is sealed to the extruded aluminium optical compartment.
The optical compartment is integrated into the profile and closed at each end by a lateral cover made from glass fibre reinforced polycarbonate. One is fixed while the other provides access to the lamp via two stainless steel clips. The reflector is made from extremely pure aluminium (multi-layer reflector with a high degree of reflection).
The control gear is fixed onto an aluminium bracket and can be removed by exerting pressure on the side.

Advantages

• Compact luminaire for T5 - Ø 16 mm fluorescent lamps
• Optimum tightness level (IP 66)
• Tool free access to the lamp and control gear
• High-performance photometry
• Multi-layer reflector to maximise reflective properties

Characteristics

Optical compartment tightness level: IP 66 (*)
Control gear tightness level: IP 54 (*)
Impact resistance (glass/PC): IK 08 / IK 10 (**)
Electrical insulation class: I (*)

(*) according to standard IEC - EN 60598
(**) according to standard IEC - EN 62262

Dimensions

Profile length: on request according to the desired configuration (max. 6 metres)
The length of the optical compartment depends on the size of the lamp.
L = 638 mm (14 W - 24 W)
L = 1238 mm (28 W - 54 W)
L = 938 mm (21 W - 39 W)
L = 1538 mm (35 W - 49 W - 80 W)

Maintenance

The lamp and the control gear can be accessed without tools after lifting a long closing lever.
This operation allows the optical compartment to be tilted back along an integrated hinge. The lamp can then be accessed via the lateral cover which is closed using two stainless steel clips.
The lamp is positioned using transparent plastic guides.
The control gear is fixed onto a bracket above the optical compartment and can be easily accessed, also without tools, by simply exerting pressure on the sides.

The luminaire can be tilted after having lifted the lateral closing lever.

The lamp can be accessed without tools. A lateral cover fixed by two clips allows the lamp to be removed. The cover is held in place by a safety cord.

The control gear is fixed onto a U-shaped bracket and can be removed simply by exerting pressure with the fingers.

Installation

Four grooves - two on the sides and two on the back of the profile - allow for numerous types of mounting, adapted according to the configuration of each tunnel.
Mounted with M8 screws.

The electrical connection between different profiles installed in a line is carried out using plugs and sockets with 3, 4 or 5 contacts, or by using one or several compression glands.
Inside a single profile, the optical compartments are also connected electrically by a system of plugs and sockets.

Photometry

The AT-T5 luminaire can be equipped with two reflectors to obtain symmetrical or asymmetrical light distribution.
In each case, it can be equipped with one or two T5 lamps.

The AT-T5 can be equipped with a symmetrical or asymmetrical reflector in order to fulfill tunnel configuration requirements as well as the different installation possibilities of the luminaires (overhead or laterally).
