| Description | | LUMINOUS AMBIANCE IN THE CITY
Created by the designer Patrick Rimoux, the Atom is a luminous column with a triangular section available in three heights: 4, 5 and 8 metres. The stainless steel column is comprised of a base with a hatch and a luminous tube made of acrylic topped by a box. The upper tube and box are supported by three risers with a triangular section made of stainless steel. This column combines direct and indirect lighting while providing a light ambiance that fits perfectly in urban areas frequented by many people at night. Its design makes it an element of street furniture that contributes to livening up cities and commercial or cultural complexes. A system for varying the colours can be incorporated into the Atom (option). While providing quality functional lighting, this configuration of the Atom is also particularly suited to festive applications. The large model is appropriate for lighting prestigious avenues in urban centres. | | FUNCTIONAL AND ATMOSPHERIC LIGHTING
The Atom combines functional and atmospheric lighting. It has two optical compartments: a lower one for indirect distribution and the upper one for direct distribution. This complementarity in a single unit makes the Atom an ideal tool for livening up urban centres. Combined with a colour variation system, Atom lighting can also show off a festive character particularly helpful in making lighting come alive.

The triangular base of the column is made of stainless steel. A hatch gives access to the optical compartment for indirect lighting and to the control gear. In the 8-metre version, the optical compartment is made up of two reflectors.
DIRECT LIGHTING
A box with a triangular section positioned above the tube contains the optical compartment for direct lighting, which is comprised of a reflector. In the 8-metre version, the optical compartment is made up of two µR® (micro-reflectors). Access to the lamp and the control gear is via a cover made of stainless steel located at the top of the column. In the 8-metre version, access is via a hatch.

| Options | | | | COLOUR VARIATIONS
Two types of variations are possible:
• Random and autonomous change (each luminaire independently of the others): the delayed action and programmable variable colour generator supports three dichroic filters of different colours.
• An ensemble of Atom columns can be co-ordinated and programmed by an external computer with the appropriate interface card and software. The base of the Atom houses the variable colour generator.
