The TMB luminaire provides lighting for emergency exits, and in particular is used in the Mont Blanc tunnel. It has been optimised in order to comply with the environmental requirements of tunnels.

The vertically installed TMB luminaires are permanently lit in order to create an easily identifiable «curtain of light». In case of fire, the powerful lateral lighting provided by the TMB floodlights increases the visibility of the emergency exits.
