The city of Berlin wins first prize in the Auroralia award!


Organised by Schréder and LUCI for the first time in 2009, the Auroralia award aims to reward three cities that have implemented an exterior lighting system that minimizes the ecological footprint in the most noticeable, exemplary and original way. A concern for us all as the United Nations Climate Change Conference takes place in Copenhagen.

FURYO


IP 66 Sealsafe® urban and road lighting luminaire, the Furyo is available in three sizes and can be fitted with several types of lamps: Cosmopolis, high-pressure sodium and metal halide with ceramic arc tube up to 250 W. 

With compact miniR® and multi-layer High Reflect HiR® reflectors specifically developed for the arc tubes of new-generation lamps, the Furyo offers an innovative solution for “The Right Lighting”:
- the right level using less energy;
- the right level using less materials;
- the right level at a lower cost.

NANO


Public lighting luminaire for lamps of up to 70W (Nano 1) or 100 W (Nano 2). It is characterised by its compactness and a contemporary design. 
The entire luminaire has an IP 66 tightness level. The body and cover are made from high-quality painted die-cast aluminium alloy. The optical compartment consists of a deep-drawn, anodised and polished aluminium reflector and a curved glass protector (polycarbonate as an option).
The control gear is mounted on a plate that can be removed without tools.

ISLA


LIGHTNESS AND ELEGANCE EVERYWHERE IN THE CITY

The Isla luminaire on a cylindrical conical, galvanised steel column is characterised by its lightness and elegance.
It is particularly suited to lighting environments such as city centres, parks, residential areas...
It is designed for installation at a height of 4 to 8 metres.
While guaranteeing a high photometric performance, this ensemble offers the advantage of being a very economical solution.

AN ECONOMIC LUMINAIRE

Designed by Michel Tortel, the design and photometric configurations of the Isla luminaire make it very versatile, giving it numerous applications in urban and residential environments.
The Isla is composed of aluminium and glass.
This luminaire provides direct lighting and can be fitted with lamps of up to 150 W.

LEDs in urban and street lighting


Conscious that we were looking at a technology that will continue to develop, we started research in this area several years ago. Research which resulted in applications and products for all of the segments in which we are present. LEDs are therefore making a radical impact. “The right lighting” remains our motto. For each segment and for each application, we can offer traditional and LED alternatives, but also explain to our customers why a proposed solution is best suited to a given situation. Because each technology has its own strengths.
