This system ensures a tightness of IP 67 for the whole luminaire. Polyester powder coating.

| Maintenance | | To gain access to the lamp and control gear, simply undo the two stainless steel captive screws of the side access door. A strap (MY 2) or double hinge (MY 1) holds the door during maintenance. An extra-short gasket guarantees lifelong tightness, thus dispensing with the need for any internal cleaning.
| |  | | The MY 2 luminaire has undergone 30 kPa pressure and depression tests to meet, for example, the strict demands of lighting the Channel Tunnel.

| Photometry | | One or two lamps The MY range of luminaires can be fitted with one or two fluorescent lamps (18-58 W) and compact fluorescent lamps (7-55 W). The MY luminaires can also be fitted with a low-pressure sodium lamp (26-36 W). The presence of two lamps ensures uninterrupted lighting in the event of one faulty lamp. The photometry depends on the number of lamps and how they are arranged.
Refractor protectors The refractor protectors of the MY luminaires significantly cut down glare and provide a comfortable light distribution.
Reflector The MY 1 luminaire can be fitted with a reflector which concentrates light distribution (one lamp only).
Colour filter For special applications such as illuminating monuments, the MY 1 luminaire can be fitted with colour filters treated to withstand UV rays thus guaranteeing colour permanence.
