Description

Public lighting luminaire (IP 66 Sealsafe®) for lamps of up to 100 W (Sapphire 1), 250 W (Sapphire 2) or 600 W (Sapphire 3) made of:
- body and cover in painted die cast aluminium alloy (polypropylene cover also available for Sapphire 1 and 2)
- three-point closure system in die cast aluminium
- a removable control gear plate
- a tempered glass protector.
A universal mounting piece allows vertical or side entry installation.

Standard colour: RAL 7035
Colour: any RAL or AKZO colour on request

Materials

  

GLASS PROTECTOR

High impact resistance thanks to thermal tempering.
Consistency in the level of transparency: absence of yellowing, immune to electrostatics.
The characteristics are a determining element for the high maintenance factor of the optical compartment.
Control of the effects of light pollution.

  

SEALSAFE®

The Sealsafe® system is a source of energy and maintenance cost savings.
It guarantees an IP 66 tightness level for the optical compartment maintained over time.
The system is based on the principle of a reflector that is permanently sealed to the protector and in which the lamp is accessed only by rotating/removing the plug equipped with an ultra-short gasket.
The tightness level of the enclosure housing the optical compartment must be at least IP 44.

  1. Control gear plate removable without tools.
  2. Three-point closure system in die cast aluminium.
  3. Cover in painted die-cast aluminium alloy. Polypropylene cover also available (Sapphire 1 and 2).
  4. Lampholder support plug with adjustment system for the positioning of the lamp allowing adaptation of the light distribution.
  5. Sealsafe®: The optical compartment has an IP 66 tightness level, maintained over time.

Easilok® locking system: option on Sapphire 1 and 2 equipped with a reflector made from synthetic material.

The voltage is automatically disconnected and the plug is removed by lifting the locking handle.

Maintenance

  

EASILOK®

Only available as an option on the Sapphire 1 and 2, with reflectors made from synthetic material (1632/1720/1523).
By lowering the locking handle, this locking system automatically positions and immobilises the plug.
Access to the lamp by lifting the locking handle.
This simple action removes the plug and disconnects the power supply.



Installation



A universal mounting piece allows side entry or vertical installation of the luminaire.
Mounting with 2 M8 Allen screws (Sapphire 1 & 2) or M10 (Sapphire 3).



Photometry

  

HIGH PHOTOMETRIC EFFICIENCY

The Sapphire range can be equipped either with a reflector made from synthetic material covered with a layer of highly pure vacuum-applied aluminium (Sapphire 1/2) or with a reflector in deep drawn, polished and anodised aluminium (Sapphire 1/2/3).
These reflectors are particularly suited to quasi point source arc tube lamps and offer high photometric efficiency.
In order to adapt the photometry, the lamp is adjustable.
