Description

PLANT-LIKE DESIGN FOR THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT Created by Roland Jéol and Jean-Marc Schneider, the Alizé ensemble fitted with the Sepale luminaire is ideally suited to lighting broad avenues, boulevards or squares. Fitted with lamps of up to 400 W, the Sepale luminaire may be installed up to 12 metres above the ground. The Alizé ensemble is available in the form of lighting columns with single, double, triple brackets or with a rear bracket. The cylindrical-conical lighting column is either made of galvanised steel or thermocoated aluminium. The lighting column is topped by a curved cylindrical-conical extension. INSTALLATION UP TO 12 METRES The Sepale may be fitted with various types of light sources of up to 400 W: high-pressure sodium lamps, white sodium or metal halide lamps. Its photometric efficacy enables installations at heights between 9 and 12 metres. The Sepale is designed for lateral mounting. This luminaire is comprised of a shell made of glassreinforced polyester. It offers an original and hereto totally unexplored alternative for lighting broad streets or urban squares. Materials
		POLYESTER BODY The body of the Sepale is made of glass-reinforced polyester with a grey Gelcoattype self-coloured coating. The cover closing the supporting piece is made of painted aluminium and the cover giving access to the optical compartment is made of polycarbonate. The optical unit is comprised of a reflector made of deep drawn, polished and anodised aluminium and a protector made of sealed tempered glass. The Sepale is designed for lateral mounting but is easily adapted to other types of lighting columns. Please contact us for more information.

Maintenance
		The luminaire is opened without tools by loosening a 1/4-turn screw and lifting up the cover. This operation gives access to the Sealsafe® (IP 66) optical compartment fitted with a lamp-support plug and to the connection terminal. Access to the lamp is gained by rotating the plug. The control gear is placed in the base of the lighting column.
