The body of the GL2 luminaire is composed of extruded aluminium, closed at both ends by die-cast aluminium covers. It is equipped with a heat sink, to guarantee the performance and the life span of the high-power LEDs.
The optical compartment housing the LEDs and the reflectors does not require any maintenance.
It is delivered hermetically sealed to guarantee a high tightness level and consequently maintain performance over time.
Flat and ultra-clear 4mm tempered glass completes the optical compartment so maximising light transmission.
A door on one of the covers gives access to the electronic compartment allowing the power supply and control components to be removed.
The GL2 luminaire is supplied with a pre-fitted supply cable (FG7OM106/1kV).
Protection against corrosion is ensured through anodising and painting by stoved powder coating.

To guarantee the performance and the life span of the high-power LEDs, longitudinal fins have been integrated into the extruded aluminium structure of the GL2. These
fins act as a heat sink.
