Description

THE LIGHT OF LISBON

Among the many new infrastructures that have profoundly changed the area around Lisbon, one in particular draws much attention: the Vasco de Gama bridge. Schréder lit this 17 kilometre long bridge with more than 1000 Tage ensembles specifically developed for this application. The luminaires are installed on inclined poles fitted with a special bracket, and this inclination accentuates the harmony between the shape of the bridge and that of the luminaires. The cylindrical-conical lighting columns are made of thermo-coated galvanised steel and are available in upright or inclined versions.

Colour of the lighting column: any RAL colour
Other lighting column heights are available.

BLUE UNDULATIONS

The appearance of the bridge at night has been specially thought out to show the illumination of the blue domes and very narrow beams of light have been used to reduce glare to the greatest extent possible and optimise visual comfort. The blue colour of the dome combined with the inclination of the lighting columns provides an impression of lightness, sobriety and blue undulations.

Dome colour: opaline blue or white
