ACOUSTILIGHT
| |

| |
| Description | | The Acoustilight is a specific solution integrating a lighting system into an acoustic panel. It provides a solution to the noise problem by improving the overall acoustic comfort level and increases the safety element by illuminating the platforms in the best possible way. The optical compartment provides both efficient direct lighting using grained glass and indirect lighting using the acoustic panel to reflect the light. The acoustic panel absorbs resonance, reducing the ambient noise level and enabling the people to pick up just the sounds they need to hear. The body of the luminaire is made of extruded aluminium elements: the rear part contains the optic bloc; the front part completes its shape and hosts the acoustic panel. The acoustic panel contains a triple acoustic pad that absorbs much of the resonance. A continuous hinge links the two principal parts together. The luminaire may contain a double cable tray: low voltage for the loudspeaker incorporated into the panel (option) and 230V for the lamp or other accessories (surveillance cameras,…) The contiguous mounting of the panels adds style to the ceiling finish. | |
| Advantages | |
- Sealsafe® IP 66 maintained over time
- Optimum visual comfort
- Improved acoustic comfort level
| |
| Characteristics | | Tightness: Sealsafe® IP 66 (*) Impact resistance (glass): IK 08 (**) Electrical insulation class: I (*) Weight: -with the acoustic panel: 73.7kg -without the acoustic panel: 42.7kg
(*) according to standard EN 60598 (**) according to standard EN 50102 | |
| Dimensions | | |
| The unit is held in place by four slings and can be mounted contiguously. | | |
| | |
| Maintenance | | | | The optical compartment is sealed. Lateral access to the lamp is obtained by swivelling the optical compartment around the integrated hinge and turning the plug a quarter turn. | | | | The Sealsafe® system guarantees the IP 66 tightness degree for the optical compartment throughout the life of the luminaire. This long term photometric performance allows considerable energy savings. | |
| Photometry | | The Acoustilight combines direct and indirect lighting, providing an optimum visual comfort. The optical compartment contains an extruded aluminium reflector designed for the T8 (58W)fluorescent lamp. | | | | The Acoustilight gives an illumination on the platform with a very good overall uniformity. A vertical illumination at the platform’s edge brings additional safety when boarding the train. | |
