AMARYLLIS + CELTIS

Description

FLUIDITY, RESTRAINT AND GLITTER

Created by AGUA Design, the Amaryllis + Celtis ensemble is particularly suited to the lighting of towns and villages.
Installed at a height of between 4 and 6 metres, the Amaryllis is ideal for lighting residential areas, squares, parks, car parks, etc.
With its clean, fluid lines, this contemporary lantern will blend harmoniously into any type of urban landscape, both by day and by night.
The Amaryllis is available either for pole-top mounting or with a single, double or wall bracket.
A tool for creating atmosphere, the Amaryllis is also a functional and efficient luminaire providing indirect or direct lighting, most commonly with white light.

INNOVATIONS IN PHOTOMETRIC PERFORMANCE AND THE CREATION OF ATMOSPHERE

The technological innovations and various photometric combinations offered by the Amaryllis set new standards in urban lighting.
In photometric terms, two versions are available, offering indirect or direct lighting.
For indirect lighting, the upper reflector is made from pre-anodised aluminium specially treated to maximise its reflection properties.
As an option, there is an unprecedented feature in urban lighting: the Amaryllis can be fitted with a dichroic glass reflector that produces original sparkling effects at the base of the luminaire - the same technology as the dichroic halogen reflectors used in interior lighting.
The Amaryllis is also distinguished mechanically by an innovative and original concept, the Flexis® system: all the photometric elements are fixed on to a vertical drawer which is easily accessible via a handle.

ROBUST MATERIALS

The base section, cover and vertical drawer of the Amaryllis are made from die-cast aluminium, and the protector from moulded polycarbonate. The electrical control gear and optical compartment of the Amaryllis offer the highest tightness level: IP 66.

Maintenance

FLEXIS® VERTICAL DRAWER: IN A SINGLE MOVE

The Flexis® system optimises maintenance and allows optical accessories to be fitted/removed on site.
All elements are laid out on a vertical drawer. In a single move, the operator gains access to the lamp, reflector and optical accessories whilst simultaneously disconnecting the electrical power.
The vertical drawer and the electrical control gear are directly accessible after opening and tilting the luminaire’s cover.

Installation

MOUNTING

The Amaryllis uses a post-top mounting secured by two M8 or six M6 screws (option).

Photometry

FLEXIBLE PHOTOMETRY AND DICHROIC REFLECTOR

In its indirect lighting configuration, the Amaryllis offers two different lower reflectors, each associated with an upper reflector that that can be inclined from 0° to 30° in steps of 5°.
This flexibility makes it possible to obtain a wide range of symmetrical or asymmetrical photometric distributions to suit any type of application.
In its direct lighting configuration, the Amaryllis is fitted with a miniR® reflector beneath the cover which allows several lamp positions.
As an option, the Amaryllis is available with a dichroic glass reflector for metal halide lamps with ceramic arc tube or high-pressure sodium lamps.
This reflector – unprecedented in urban lighting – creates sparkling effects which are particularly original in the urban landscape.
The luminaire can be fitted with optional accessories such as louvres, to soften the light cast on façades, or colour filters.
