DIRECT AND INDIRECT LIGHT
Designed by the Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza, the Aura ensemble is available in two configurations: the Aura DI combining direct and indirect light distribution and the Aura I with exclusively indirect distribution.
The Aura DI is comprised of an upper parabolic reflector made of fibreglass, self coloured white, positioned at the top of the cylindrical-conical aluminium lighting column. A version made of anodised aluminium is available as an option. A luminaire placed under the parabolic reflector and incorporating two reflectors enables direct and indirect lighting to be combined. On one hand, a reflector provides lighting for the road surface and on the other, a miniaturised µR® micro-reflector) reflector illuminates the parabolic reflector. The lighting column is available in two heights: 6 or 8 metres.
The Aura I is made up of a white upper parabolic reflector made of fibreglass positioned at the top of the lighting column. Lighting is provided by a recessed Terra floodlight placed at the foot of the lighting column. The lighting column has a height of 6 metres.
Colour of the lighting column: white RAL 9016 Other colours or anodised aluminium finish on request Other lighting column heights are available. |
DIRECT AND INDIRECT LIGHTING WITH WHITE LIGHT
The Aura range offers a double solution with a coherent design efficiently combining direct and indirect lighting. The two configurations available provide lighting with white light which gives excellent colour rendition. Indirect lighting, whether or not combined with a light source with direct photometric distribution, is guaranteed to optimise visual comfort. |
