Description

A VERSATILE SOLUTION FOR TOWNS

Created by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the Equinoxe ensemble, fitted with the Maya luminaire, is particularly suited to the lighting of avenues, boulevards or public squares.
The Equinoxe ensemble is comprised of a cylindrical-conical lighting column made from galvanised, thermolacquered steel and an aluminium bracket.
The Equinoxe is available with a single or double bracket or a small rear bracket.
A bracket for wall mounting is also available.
Several bracket lengths are offered.
This array of configurations permits numerous applications and optimal integration into any type of environment.

FOR A DIVERSITY OF LAMPS AND REFLECTORS

Available in three sizes, the Maya Sealsafe® luminaire (IP 66) may be fitted with various types of reflectors and light sources up to 400 W: high-pressure sodium, metal halide, metal halide with ceramic arc tube or Cosmopolis lamps.
This wide diversity of photometric solutions constitutes a great asset for this luminaire whose refined design blends perfectly into any urban architectural environment.
As an option, a system of louvres makes it possible to avoid any possible nuisance from intrusive light.

THREE SIZES

The Maya luminaire is available in three sizes: Mini, Midi and Maxi.
It consists of a cast aluminium crown and transition plate, topped by a spun aluminium dome.
The optical compartment – supported by the transition plate – is comprised of a deep drawn polished and anodised aluminium reflector and a flat glass protector.
Curved polycarbonate or acrylic protectors (up to 150 W) are also available as options.

MAINTENANCE

The luminaire is opened without tools by loosening a ¼ turn screw (2 screws in Maxi), thus allowing the transition plate supporting the Sealsafe® (IP 66) optical compartment to hinge downwards.
This operation gives access to the electrical control gear plate and the lampholder support plug.



Installation

MULTIPLE MOUNTINGS

The Maya luminaire is designed for lateral or suspended mounting.
Various types of lateral mounting can be used.
An axial suspension catenary mounting is also available.

Options

  

INTEGRATED FLOODLIGHT

As an option, to illuminate foliage, the Maya Midi and Maxi luminaires can be fitted with a floodlight for 35 or 70 W metal halide lamps with ceramic arc tube, beneath their top covers.
 A choice can be made between a symmetrical or asymmetrical reflector with rotation through 360° in 45° steps.
The protector is made from plain glass (asymmetrical) or prismatic glass (symmetrical).
